The purpose of the KAUST Building Emergency Evacuation Program is to provide managers with the necessary plans, procedures, training, and equipment for the safe and efficient evacuation of KAUST premises in the event of an Emergency Evacuation at work.
All occupants of the building, at the time of an Emergency Evacuation, are affected including:
This section identifies the roles and responsibilities of any person/department that is involved in the provision of a Building Emergency Evacuation Plan.
BEPs are to be used in conjunction with Fire Evacuation drills, which are required to be undertaken by all premises within KAUST, which have persons working within them. These evacuations are required at least annually, and more details can be found within the Building Evacuation Management Procedure (BEMP) within KAUST.
Updated BEPs are hosted on the HSE website for access.
