Emergency Management is a division of the Fire & Emergency Services, HSE and responsible to establish a framework for emergency preparedness and the effective management of KAUST emergencies.
Emergency Response, Fire Protection and Prevention and Community Engagement are the 3 service areas within KFD which combine in an integrated way to keep our community safe. We deliver a range of services which aim to prevent fires and other emergency incidents and mitigate the impact of all risks on the KAUST community.
KAUST Fire Protection is the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) in relation to all fire and life safety matters throughout KAUST. Our response personnel are supported by the KAUST Fire Protection team (KFP), who are headed by the Fire Protection Lead and their Fire Safety Inspectors and Engineers.
